As EPG, we are a fintech company doing exciting things in the e-wallet business. We have offices in Malta and in Germany. We are seeking a driven and talented DevOps Engineer with a background in DevOps, to join our thriving team. This individual will bring a passion for technology, a strong technical skill set, and proven experience in the development or DevOps space. Responsibilities:

• As DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for managing computational infrastructure, maintaining infrastructure-as-code practices, and performing AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration.
• Further you will provision new hardware, support software development efforts, and develop utilities to automate data science workflows for complex and large workloads.
• In addition, you will support project setups and deployments, ensuring proper configuration, adherence to best practices, and continuous monitoring of automated alert systems.
• You will also serve as the primary point of contact for DevOps-related account escalations and service requests, triaging and resolving issues in collaboration with the Head of DevOps/ICT.
• In addition, you will gather user requirements, inform the DevOps roadmap, and collaborate with Engineering and internal teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Last but not least, you will review team KPIs, participate in development meetings, and contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps processes and practices.

Qualifications:

• Preferably 2 or more years experience working in a people related role.
• Familiar with any of the following is a huge plus: Jenkins, Shell, CloudFormation, Elastic Stack, Python, Bash Script, Linux.
• Understanding of container infrastructure, such as Docker
• Past experience with AWS
• Knowledge of monitoring ( Grafana , Prometheus )
