Job Description

To assist the logistics operations by providing internal and external transportation services.TASKS:

• To drive company vehicles as needed both in and out of company premises if and when instructed by the Warehouse Coordinator.
• To perform client deliveries in emergency situations.
• To collect the waste generated by the Production department and the Purchasing and stores department on a daily basis and ensure that all waste is collected.
• To assist the yard labourers and lifters as may be needed.
• To coordinate the constant supply, including delivery and collection, of CO2 and other gas cylinders to and from supplier and collection of stock from outside warehouses.
• To maintain Company equipment in good order and condition, primarily by driving calmly and courteously.
• To report any vehicle faults or damages immediately.
• To ensure that the Company Vehicles are always kept in a clean condition, including washing of trucks used by internal drivers.
• To wear personal protective equipment as per company policy.
• To assist as necessary in other warehousing-related tasks including loading/unloading of trucks.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Possess Driving Licence Category C.
• Possess a secondary level of education.
• Be conversant in both Maltese & English.
• Have good literacy skills.
