Job Description

To carry out and oversee receipt, storage, requisitioning and issuing of supplies and materials, whilst monitoring inventory levels in all Company Stores.TASKS:

• To unload supplies or supervise unloading of parts by hand or utilising hand operated or motorised equipment.
• To perform incoming inspections when required on all supplies and raw materials.
• To issue supplies and materials from stores against a duly filled in requisition form.
• To ensure all returns are accepted in the stores against the appropriate form.
• To maintain Inventory System always updated on acceptance, transfer and issuing of supplies and materials. In the case of storekeepers who do not have access to the electronic inventory system, these are to ensure that the Store Coordinator is made aware so as to update accordingly.
• To maintain a FIFO / FEFO system for all items in stores.
• To participate in physical stock takes, as necessary.
• To maintain good housekeeping and GMP in all stores, and to observe the weekly cleaning schedule.
• To immediately report to the Stores Coordinator any damages and unaccounted stock of supplies and materials.
• To monitor stock levels and report any abnormal stock levels to the Stores Coordinator.
• To ensure that all work carried out in the Stores by Company employees and external contractors is according to health and safety regulations.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• O Level standard.
• Forklift Driving License or minimum experience.
• One year minimum experience in a food storage facility.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Organisational skills and an eye for detail.
• Fluency in English and Maltese.
