Your Role:As a General Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep across our portfolio. You will also take charge of the upkeep and safety of our pools, all while using a CMMS to track and document your work. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, and mechanical systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks: inspections, filter changes, lubrication, testing, and equipment checks
• Use the CMMS to manage, track, and document work orders and preventive maintenance activities
• Carry out full maintenance of swimming pools: water balancing, chemical testing, vacuuming, skimming, backwashing, and water-quality monitoring
• Inspect, service, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and safety devices
• Maintain general facility upkeep: painting, drywall repairs, fixture replacement, and external cleaning
• Assist with small construction tasks, space modifications, equipment relocation, and other facility projects
• Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and cleaning or repair supplies
• Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance, inspections, or repairs
• Implement and enforce safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance (health, building codes, sustainability)
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-organised at all times
• Take leadership of maintenance tasks in the absence of the Maintenance Manager
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and comply with any required transport safety procedures

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or technical support (hospitality experience is a plus)
• Experience with pool maintenance preferred
• Skilled in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
• Familiarity with CMMS or other maintenance management software
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and sustainable practices
• Flexibility to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Fluent in English — knowledge of Maltese is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license
