• Provide legal advice and support relating to fintech operations and regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents including contracts and agreements
• Ensure company compliance with relevant legal frameworks and industry standards
• Stay up-to-date with changes in fintech legislation and advise the team accordingly
• Assist in legal risk assessments and mitigation strategies within the fintech space
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal best practices are implemented across all projects

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Two to five years’ experience in fintech or related commercial practice to support the team in a broad range of work
• A positive attitude, be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, be a team-player with a collaborative working style, results-focused, and able to communicate confidently and effectively
• Qualified lawyer with experience in legal practice, preferably in fintech or related areas
• Strong understanding of Malta’s legal framework and fintech regulatory environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyse complex legal issues effectively
