Job Description
Main Purpose of Job:The HR Executive is mainly responsible for assisting with all primary functions of the human resources department and acting as a point of contact for employee queries.Individual Key Objectives:a) Assisting with employee onboarding, conducting company-specific inductions, and ensuring documentation is collected.b) Conducting interviews and preparing offers in line with company structures.c) Preparing periodic management reports and keeping records updated.d) Assisting with the work permit process by compiling the required documents and submitting them accordingly.e) Conducting exit interviews in order to identify shortcomings and suggest recommendations for improvements.f) Identifying potential sources of employees for both subcontracted and direct placements.g) Assisting with NSO reports when required.h) Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll queries and confirming any discrepancies.i) Assisting in the implementation of the group’s performance management system.j) Drafting documents as required.k) Coordinating employee training, ensuring legal requirements are met, as well as identifying areas of potential improvement.l) Assisting with company events.m) Informing payroll of new employees and forwarding information regarding any changes.n) Take responsibility for any other duties commensurate with the level of this post as may be requested.Working Conditions:o) To have a flexible approach and be ready to work irregular working hours when requestedp) Support the development of character, skills, attitude and superior individual and team performanceq) To meet the client’s exigenciesr) Present a business-like and professional image at all timess) Role will be based at Head Office and would involve travelling to meet staff on site.Personal Characteristics, Skills & Experience:a) Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in Maltese and English.b) Ability to work effectively in a team, including the ability to respond to the needs of team members and provide them with assistance as and when required.c) To be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.d) To be open and honest at all times.e) Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with third parties.f) To have a flexible approach to work commitments at all times.g) To be prepared to multitask and keep organised.h) Good working knowledge of computers and conversant with computer applications.i) Extensive knowledge of employment laws and practices.Direct Relationships:- Directors
