Job Description
Our client a boutique corporate service firm seeks a Junior Corporate Officer to join their team.Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse client portfolio, overseeing all aspects of corporate administration, ensuring up-to-date regulatory compliance, and handling related corporate matters.
- Liaise with the Malta Business Registry (MBR) via the online portal for the incorporation of new entities and the submission of all statutory forms and filings.
- Facilitate the opening of bank accounts (primarily with online payment institutions) and manage the regular updates of necessary due diligence documentation.
- Draft essential corporate documentation, including resolutions and statutory forms related to corporate changes.
- Attend and accurately record minutes during client meetings as necessary.
- Prepare and file Beneficial Ownership documents during the incorporation process and for all subsequent updates.
- Coordinate with external parties such as accountants, auditors, legal advisors, and other service providers.
- Maintain and organise both digital (cloud-based) and physical filing systems to ensure the easy and accurate retrieval of corporate records.
- Respond to and assist with ad-hoc queries and tasks as instructed by the Corporate Partner.
- A sound understanding of Maltese company law and the role of a Company Secretary will be considered a significant asset.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Maltese.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with online government portals and cloud-based systems.
- Strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and independently.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
