Our client is a large organisation involved in the energy sector in Malta.Due to restructuring, a Financial Manager is required to play a key role leading the accounts/finance team. Reporting to the Financial Director responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial control and compliance
• Revenue computation
• Cost management and optimisation
• Team leadership, mentoring the team of finance professionals
• Attending stakeholder meetings
• Approving purchase requests
• Executing end of month closing procedures

Talent will:

• Be a qualified Accountant holding chartership
• Demonstrate experience as a financial controller within energy, utilities or similar sector
• Possess excellent experience in financial modelling
• Be proficient with financial management software and Excel
• Have strong communication and leaderships skills
