My client is a highly reputable construction business undertaking a range of civil, structural and interior projects in Malta.A highly organized and strategic Procurement Manager is required to lead and manage the procurement function across various business units. This role requires a proactive and analytical professional with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management, supplier relationship development, and cost optimization.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Oversee the entire procurement cycle, including sourcing, purchasing, delivery, and vendor management.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term supplier relationships.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project timelines and operational requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, including operations, finance, and project management, to forecast needs and align procurement plans.
• Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain procurement policies, procedures, and compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor procurement staff, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous professional development.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and analysis for senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and practices.
• Experience in the construction, engineering, or industrial services sectors.
