Payments and Chargeback Officer – Fintech – Hybrid

You will join a future-focused company where you’ll gain hands-on experience with modern financial products and high-growth sectors.As a Payments & Chargebacks Officer, you’ll manage payment flows, resolve chargebacks, and ensure compliance in a dynamic, tech-driven environment – sharpening your operational skills, boost your problem-solving abilities, and become a go-to expert in payments and fraud prevention.Perfect for detail-driven professionals eager to grow in a structured, fast-paced fintech setting. • Manage end-to-end payment operations, including card payments, multi-currency transactions, and chargebacks, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and full regulatory compliance.
• Monitor transaction flows to swiftly identify and investigate anomalies or fraud risks, upholding strict adherence to AML/CFT requirements and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements by enhancing payment workflows and chargeback handling, aiming to boost operational efficiency and deliver a smoother customer experience.

Skills / Experience:

• Malta-based, and preferably a Maltese speaker
• 1+ years of previous experience in payments processing, chargebacks, card services, PSP, or fintech operations
• Working knowledge of SEPA or SWIFT payments, chargeback disputes, and transaction monitoring
