Job Description
Job Outline:This role is designed to support the Senior Brand Manager in development and implementation of brand strategies and key initiatives in order to ensure profitable growth of volume and revenue.Responsibilities:
  • To support the Senior Brand Manager develop and implement brand strategy and key initiatives in order to ensure profitable growth of volume and revenue.
  • Accountable to deliver, together with Senior Brand Manager and sales, brand annual and monthly targeted volumes, NSR, gross margin and NC for assigned brands.
  • Accountable for planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media.
  • To support the Senior Brand Manager in creating and managing the annual activity calendar and brand plan in order to establish and maintain product branding and achieve targeted volume, revenue and margin growth.
  • Accountable to propose budget (DME) and investments and to manage the budget for advertising, activities, and promotional items in line with company and principal’s procedures and guidelines.
  • Accountable to provide competitor and channel insights analysis on ongoing basis, as well as to analyse sales forecast, actual results and relevant financial in order to ensure that brand is reaching set volume, market share and financial targets.
  • Accountable to research consumer market, monitor market trends and identify potential areas for growth and investment, based on consumer needs, performance of the market and foreseen trends.
  • To support the Senior Brand Manager to develop OBPPC for the brand, approved by Senior Marketing Manager, HOSM, GM and ED and aligned with principal, ensuring that OBPPC is reflecting consumer and shopper needs and trends, as well as internal financial objectives.
  • Responsible for market appearance involving pricing, activations, cooler presence and all other elements in place to reflect the Brand Plans. This includes weekly route rides with the sales team.
  • Accountable to support Senior Brand Manager to develop and update PICOS standards for the brand (“must have product” list per channel, merchandising standards for channel), prepare training materials and guidelines for sales and activation team. Accountable to provide guidelines for supporting POSM.
  • Accountable to prepare and send timely, accurate and in professional manner all internally and externally required reports, as per Senior Brand Manager and/or company requirements and templates, as well as principal’s requirements.
  • Contribute to implementation of PICOS for the brand by setting and aligning annual and quarterly targets with Senior Brand Manager and Senior Marketing Manager and monitor execution.
  • Shared responsibility with other team members to exchange best practices, support development and implementation of processes and projects for the benefit of the brand, department, and the company.
Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field.
Skills:
  • Brand Management: understands fully brand mission, identity and design principles, brand positioning, core brand elements, target group, brand attributes. Capable to present to others and train others.
  • Market, Channel and Trade Understanding: understands market situation and trends, key channels, and trade structure. Can, based on insights, predict trends, and incorporate in analytics and strategy development. Understands basics of channel evolutions and can incorporate such predictions into brand strategies.
  • Budget Management: understands how budget is managed, knows processes and procedures, and apply them regularly. Propose optimal budget investments and undertakes necessary planning, timely and accurately takes steps and actions to reflect planned and approved budget spending, maintain correct overview of budget balance, costs and accruals, report regularly and timely.
  • Computer and social media: Good usage of Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point. Understanding and usage of social media.
  • Basic Financial Skills: understands P&L, value chain, as well as basic retail math. Capable to understand how P&L (of brand, product) works, implications of changes on any of key lines and can use basic tools to simulate outcome of actions on top line and bottom line of the P&L. Capable to manage value chain, understanding role and impact of all the lines and can propose pricing changes with overview of implications. Understands basic retail KPIs and math, including margin and mark up, breakeven point calculation, revenue, and profit, etc.
  • Analytical Skills has abilities which allow to collect, organize, visualize, and assimilate data. Able to see patterns, draw conclusions, and find solutions.
  • Basic Category and Shopper Marketing: understands product category in which his/her brands play and segmentation, need states of consumers, shopping mission and shopper decision tree, occasions relevant for the category and key channels.

Experience:
  • 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG would be considered an asset.
