Job Description

Our client is seeking Legal Counsel to join their growing team.The Legal Counsel will assume a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day legal and compliance operations of the companyKey Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Head of Legal with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Providing legal advice on commercial, corporate, intellectual property, technology, and internal service matters.
• Managing contracts, including monitoring contractual obligations and ensuring compliance.
• Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date on regulatory and legislative developments.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of standard templates, internal policies, and processes.
• Assisting with corporate governance matters, including maintaining statutory records and ensuring updates are compliant.
• Liaising with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Preparing summaries, reports, and presentations on legal matters for internal stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate and organised legal records, files, and databases.
• Providing administrative and coordination support to the Head of Legal and the legal team.
• Assisting with other legal tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Law degree
• Knowledge of online gaming legislation and industry best practices (an asset)
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
