Remuneration: Competitive, based on experienceWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing iGaming Consulting company seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented PSP Analyst to join their Payments team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their global payment infrastructure.As a PSP Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring payment transactions, analyzing trends, resolving issues, and supporting the optimization of Payment Service Provider (PSP) performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the fintech/payments environment of a dynamic international business.Responsibilities:
- Monitor and reconcile transaction flows across multiple PSPs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Investigate and analyze issues such as payment failures, chargebacks, and disputes, performing root cause analysis where needed.
- Collaborate directly with PSPs to troubleshoot operational and technical issues.
- Generate regular performance reports covering approval rates, fraud trends, latency, and other key KPIs.
- Support the integration and testing of new PSPs, working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Analyze customer payment behavior to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with internal teams including Finance, Risk, Tech, and Customer Support to maintain smooth payment operations and escalate issues where necessary.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting obligations related to payment operations.
- Perform daily reconciliation checks against PSP statements and internal records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or a data-focused role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with payment platforms, acquiring banks, PSPs, and card networks.
- Solid understanding of fraud prevention and risk mitigation within payment systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
