Job DescriptionOur client, a well-known pharmaceutical company are looking for a Process Engineer to join their Engineering team.The selected candidate will play a key role in optimising processes, improving equipment reliability, and supporting ongoing engineering projects in line with operational and quality objectives.Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and troubleshoot process and equipment issues, proposing and implementing methods, procedures, and systems that improve process quality, operational efficiency, and equipment uptime.
• Organise, maintain, and continuously improve the maintenance management system and related scheduled activities to ensure maintenance is efficient, effective, and properly documented.
• Investigate process deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to reduce recurrence and reinforce process control.
• Support the planning and execution of engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and investment initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with cGMP requirements, company policies, good engineering practices, and regulatory standards.
• Provide hands-on support during new process introductions, technology transfers, and scale-up projects to ensure smooth implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues promptly, fostering collaboration, innovation, and achievement of production and operational targets.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a Diploma in Engineering at MQF Level 4 or higher, combined with relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in production and/or engineering functions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with a keen interest in problem-solving.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and a culture of continuous improvement.
