Do you enjoy problem-solving, organising complex tasks, and helping teams work smarter?Jesmond Mizzi Financial Advisors Ltd. is seeking a Project Management Officer to support our project management function and contribute to technology-focused projects and digital initiatives across the company.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide internal users with assistance on IT-related queries and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager with project planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.
  • Monitor live systems to ensure smooth operation and assist with scheduled maintenance. Systems include investment platforms, document management systems, company websites, client portals, productivity tools and newsletter tools.
  • Liaise with external service providers, follow up on support issues and change requests, and translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between internal teams and third-party vendors, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across the organisation.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and status updates for management and stakeholders.
About YouWe are looking for an organised, proactive individual with experience or strong interest in:
  • Software and hardware support and troubleshooting
  • Managing small internal IT projects
  • Applying problem solving skills in technology projects and tasks
  • Cyber security principles
Knowledge of the financial services industry, current technology trends, project management methodologies, or customer support practices will be considered an asset.Requirements:
  • An academic qualification at MQF Level 6 or higher in a relevant field (or in the final stages of qualification); OR
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in project management, tech support, or vendor coordination (applicants who meet this criterion are encouraged to apply even without the formal qualification).
