Group Legal Counsel – FMCG

This Group Legal Counsel will take on a high-impact role within a very diversified and rapidly expanding group. Due to this growth, the company is creating strong career development prospects for a corporate & commercial lawyer looking to further enhance their career prospects within a reputable group.In this role, you will closely collaborate with the board reporting directly to the Managing Director, demonstrating the significant impact you will have in the company. Your responsibilities will be broad and dynamic, offering you exposure to a very wide range of legal areas with an emphasis on commercial contracts, employment law and corporate transactional which will further complement your skillset while growing your career.If you are coming from a corporate or commercial law background and are interested in exploring an in-house position within a very diversified group, offering a highly dynamic and high-impact opportunity, look no further.You will:

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts;
• Handle corporate transactional matters such as company formations, M&A, and joint ventures;
• Advice on employment law, privacy, property law, and if necessary be involved in litigation;
• Be the point of contact with external counsel.

Experience:

• Warranted lawyer in Malta
• 3+ years PQE, either in-house or from a law firm (Big4 or similar would be desired)
• Hands-on experience with local corporate & commercial law

Salary / Remuneration: EUR 45,000 – 55,000 DOEBenefits:
