• Establish and manage reconciliation processes and ensure smooth data and fund flows.
• Oversee daily settlement, reconciliation, and reporting for card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
• Identify and escalate issues, ensuring they are properly logged and resolved.
• Maintain segregation of client funds in line with regulatory standards.
• Review and update Safeguarding and Outsourcing Policies to comply with MFSA, EMD2, and PSD2.
• Work with the tech team to automate reconciliation, tracking, and reporting processes.
• Reconcile card scheme fees, assessments, and interchange with accuracy.
• Coordinate with Finance teams to report monthly activities and exceptions.
• Prepare and distribute reports for internal stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with banks, processors, and card networks.
• Support internal and external queries, including those from merchants, partners, and business teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.
• Support audit requests and assist with ad hoc business projects.

• Degree in Banking, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in financial services, particularly card acquiring, is an asset.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated team player, able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with IT systems.
