DescriptionPosition at LeoVegas GroupABOUT THE ROLEAre you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a keen interest in financial operations?We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.If you are organised, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing organization, this is the perfect opportunity for you to develop your career in finance.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Assisting in the day to day accounting duties and the posting of supplier invoices.
• Following up of any supplier queries, supplier statement reconciliations, investigation of discrepancies.
• Liaising with the Treasury team for funding needed for payments.
• Processing weekly payment runs and other ad hoc payments and respective bank reconciliations.
• Calculation and maintaining of the monthly marketing accruals and prepayments schedules.
• Maintaining good and clear communication with various cost owners from different departments to ensure that the accruals are captured accurately
• Monthly inter-company accounting and reconciliation.
• Assisting with interim and year-end audits.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements.
• Monitoring aged creditors.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting.
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail are very important for this role.
• Ability to work independently.
• Organised with good verbal and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Experience in the gaming industry.
