Job Description Trends, a leading furniture company who specialises in bespoke carpentry, is looking for a Designer / Draughtsperson to join its team. The candidate should be able to work with great concentration and precision. A keen eye for detail and great design aptitude are also essential. The goal is to produce detailed furniture drawings showing all relative parts and components together with any production related information needed. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Reviews 2D/3D CAD design blueprints; Production of manufacturing drawings in 2D and 3D design; Taking onsite measurements when needed; Liaison with customers, collaborators, contractors, and suppliers as required. Preferred Skills and Requirements: Good command of AutoCAD and Micrsoft Office; Good design skill with the ability to produce detailed CAD Drawings and plans; Knowledge of both spoken and written English; Knowledge of furniture manufacturing will be considered an asset.
