Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Sprayer to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for professionally finishing wooden products—such as doors, furniture, and bespoke joinery items—using spray techniques to achieve high-quality results. This is a hands-on role requiring experience with a range of coatings and excellent attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning as required. Apply primer, stain, lacquer, paint, and other finishes using various spray systems. Mix and match coatings to the correct viscosity, color, and finish specifications. Inspect completed work to ensure smooth and uniform coverage, correcting any imperfections. Maintain and clean all spray equipment and spray booths in accordance with health and safety standards. Work from job orders and product specifications, ensuring timely completion. Collaborate with joiners, finishers, and production staff to meet quality and delivery targets. Requirements: Proven experience as a wood sprayer or similar finishing role. Strong knowledge of various wood finishes (e.g., clear lacquer, stains, paints). High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship. Physically fit and able to handle lifting and standing for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
