This Junior Legal Counsel will take on a crucial function within a well-established group of companies in Malta. Due to continued business growth the company is expanding its legal department, offering attractive career development opportunities for lawyers searching for their first in-house role.You will closely support the management team and their current Legal Counsel on an ongoing basis, primarily focusing on commercial and company law, offering you both broad and dynamic exposure, as well as independence and a team environment to really contribute to your career development.If you are eager to start an in-house legal career which will set you up for future career success, in addition to gain an understanding of business and a wide range of legal areas, this career-defining opportunity will set you up for future success.You will:

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts;
• Provide legal advice across a number of legal areas such as corporate law, employment law, intellectual property law and data privacy;
• Advise management teams on legal risks and contribute to minimizing risk exposure;
• Support various departments and raise in-house legal awareness across different teams.

Experience:

• Warranted Lawyer in Malta
• 1+ years PQE
• Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese

Salary / Remuneration: EUR 30,000 – 35,000 DOEBenefits:
