We are looking for an Audit Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will form part of the organisation's audit management team and will report to the Audit Partners. The position provides an excellent personal development opportunity as well as career prospects for the job holder.ABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is one of the leading multi-disciplinary audit, accounting, tax, and advisory firms and is located in Birkirkara.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Leading the engagement and involving team members in the planning process and providing guidance as needed.
- Application of the audit approach to improve the efficiencies of the audit process and identify the risks associated with the engagement
- Technical expert for audit assignments, providing advice to audit team and client.
- Managing audit assignments from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales.
- Controlling time spent and monitoring actual time within budget.
- People management – coaching, feedback, performance management, training, and development, engaging high-performing teams.
- Maintaining control and stability under pressure.
- Ensuring standards and procedures are maintained by the whole team.
- Shows vision and strategic perspective.
- Assesses and produces high quality work in line with the Firm's policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements.
- Have in depth knowledge of IFRSs and International Standards of Auditing.
- Minimum of three years’ work experience in an Audit Supervisor/Senior 3 role.
- Good knowledge of IFRS, GAPSME and International Standards of Auditing and Accounting.
- You are a team player and self-motivated.
- You have an analytical mind as well as an eye for detail.
- You possess excellent English spoken and writing skills.
