Job Description

Salvo Grima is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our core infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Azure Active Directory, ERP systems, data warehouse operations, and device lifecycle management. This role requires a proactive individual with a solid background in systems administration, performance optimization, and security best practices.Key Responsibilities

• Azure Active Directory Management: Administer user identities, roles, and access policies to ensure secure and efficient operations.

• Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols including access controls, encryption, and regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

• System Performance Optimization: Conduct regular assessments to identify and resolve system inefficiencies across servers, networks, and applications.

• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Design and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.

• Procurement of Equipment: Coordinate the acquisition of IT hardware and software, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and alignment with business needs.

• Intune Configuration & Management: Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device enrolment, policy enforcement, and application deployment.

• Device Management: Oversee the lifecycle of company devices including provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, and decommissioning.

• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align infrastructure strategies and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

• A degree in ICT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Proven experience in a System Administrator role.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Azure Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft Intune.

• Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.

• Experience in IT procurement and device lifecycle management.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
