Job Description

A vacancy has arisen at the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS) & Sports Star Lodge for the post of a Housekeeping Supervisor on full-time basis. The selected candidate would need to have a solid knowledge of cleaning and would be prepared to support the team in the general tasks and duties. Key Responsibilities Providing day-to-day direction and support to the housekeeping team. Ensuring adherence to established cleaning procedures and standards. Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and cleanliness. Resolving any housekeeping complaints and addressing any housekeeping issues. Maintaining records and preparing reports related to department activities. Carrying out regular checks and reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate department. Managing and motivating the team to meet company expectations. Assisting the Operations and Administration Manager with any reports, rosters, and ordering supplies. Perform any other duties that may be assigned as required. Reporting safety hazards immediately. Following all health and safety regulations. Adhering to company policies and legal regulations. Other ad-hoc reporting as may be required. What We're Looking For Have two (2) years' experience in a similar role would be considered an asset. Organizational & leadership skills. Good verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English. Able to build customer relationships and ensure good communication.
