Our client is a leading European business aviation operator, specializing in the management and charter of private jets. The company stands out for its commitment to delivering personalized service to its clients and aircraft owners. RECRUITMENT CONTEXT:
As part of its growth and to strengthen its Operations team, our client is looking to hire a Flight Dispatcher based in Malta. This role is critical for ensuring safe, efficient, and smooth flight operations for their business aviation clients. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Flight Dispatcher to work closely with the Operations team. You will be responsible for:Preparing and coordinating flight operations in Europe and worldwide, including routing, weather analysis, payload considerations, and operational constraintsBuilding complete flight planning packages and operational documentation for flight crewsCoordinating with flight support providers, handlers, and operational partners to ensure all pre-flight requirements are metOrganizing ground services: fuel, handling, catering, crew accommodation, and ground transportationObtaining, verifying, and managing overflight and landing permits prior to departureCoordinating airport slots and ensuring operational clearances are secured before flight releaseActing as a point of contact for sales and operational partners during the pre-flight phaseMonitoring crew availability, flight hours, and rest requirements to ensure complianceCollaborating with Operations colleagues to align pre-flight planning and on-site activities for smooth flight executionThis list of responsibilities is not exhaustive.‍ PROFILE SOUGHT:Previous experience in flight dispatch or flight operations, in business aviationStrong knowledge of international flight planning and pre-flight operational processesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple flights simultaneously under tight deadlinesProfessional communication skills in English (mandatory)Personal qualities: proactive, solution-oriented, rigorous, autonomous, and team-orientedPosition based in Malta.
