Job Description MGC Pharma (Malta) Operations Ltd., a generic pharmaceutical development & manufacturing company operating within the Hal Far Industrial Estate in Malta, is seeking to further expand and strengthen their team. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee our Production department. Reporting to the Plant Manager the chosen candidate will form part of a growing department. He / she will be expected to: Direct and coordinate warehouse and manufacturing operations in alignment with company policies and procedures. Be directly responsible for the goals of the Production department. Manage the full production cycle, from long term scheduling of manufacture to the delivery of the final product to the customer. Ensure that products are produced on time, are in line with the quality standards set and are produced at the minimum possible costs. Request from the Quality Control department analysis of raw materials and products which are necessary as part of production processes, and to use such analysis in the correct development of the products / processes. Manage the planning of the manufacturing schedule. Manage a team of production personnel. Evaluate scientific data resulting from the department’s operations. The position requires: A university degree in chemistry / pharmaceutical science. Ideally have a minimum of two years of experience working in a production / GMP environment. Ideally have previous experience in a managerial role. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Computer literacy and good command of MS Office applications.
