Job Description
G3 Group is a leading hospitality group based in Mellieħa, Malta, proudly operating The Pergola Hotel & Spa, The Solana Hotel & Spa, and the DOMS Boutique Hotel, along with a portfolio of bars, restaurants, and wellness centres across the North of Malta. We also operate VITA Hotel in St. Julians. We are currently seeking a professional and service-driven Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Mellieha and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences from day one on a full-time basis. Job Role This position's primary responsibility is that of ensuring the efficient day to day running of the Front Desk, through good customer care practices, excellent communication skills and responsibility of the Front Desk during working hours. Asides from the maintaining the quality standards, which the Hotel is established for, the Front Desk Coordinator assists in the maximization of the financial performance, guests satisfaction, qualitative performance and overall improvement of the department on a short & long term plan. Responsibilities To provide and excel in customer care, provide accurate information to all guests and promote the Hotel’s services and products. Maintains product and service quality standards, by conducting ongoing evaluations, and investigating complaints, while anticipating guest feedback, and resolve any occurring issues. Ensuring an efficient standard in Front Desk procedures and their execution by the Team such as check-in/check-out, Telephone and E-mail operations, Billing & Cashiering, Night Auditing, inputting of data and basic clerical and organization tasks. Handles Guests complaints, reports and directs the Team when necessary. Maintain a confident and mature approach, while practicing tact and diplomacy. Assists in motivating the Team in applying excellent standards of customer care and acting professional at all times, while identifying requirements for training. Assist the Duty Manager in the department’s needs, which may change from time to time depending on the current situation of the Department. Maintain a lateral communication with the other departments. As required by all Hotel employees, assist any guest or potential guest in a prompt, courteous, friendly, and helpful manner at all times. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Exceptional proficiency in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage. Must demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrated background in customer service or front desk operations within the hospitality industry, ideally with supervisory experience. Excellent leadership abilities, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Capable of performing effectively under pressure and adept at handling conflict resolution. Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational capabilities.
