Job Description Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is suited to a qualified accounting professional with experience managing client portfolios, preparing management accounts, and supporting junior team members. Location: On-site - Mosta Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide accounting services and respond to client requests in a timely manner Supervise and coach junior accountants, including reviewing their work Plan and manage deliverables across a client portfolio Prioritise workload effectively and ensure deadlines are met Provide management with portfolio updates and assist in monitoring team performance Prepare accountancy files for audit and liaise with external auditors Prepare management accounts in line with relevant accounting frameworks Assist in presenting management accounts to clients Prepare and submit VAT Returns and Recap Declarations Requirements: Fully qualified accountant Minimum of 3 years' local experience in a similar role Familiarity with payroll processes will be considered an asset Foundational knowledge of VAT regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office tools Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities What's in it for you?
