Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Operative with previous hands on experience to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all properties and facilities are well maintained, safe, and fully operational at all times. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lifts, and general building systems. Install, test, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and parking systems. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of facilities including common areas, accommodation spaces, pool, classrooms, laboratories, and parking areas. Monitor and record utility readings (electricity, water, gas), as well as water temperature and quality levels. Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including out-of-hours when required. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations. Supervise and support external contractors on-site. Carry out room inspections and adjust layouts based on requirements when needed. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal procedures. Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in a similar maintenance/facilities role. Strong technical knowledge of building systems and ELV installations. Good organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to urgent issues. Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
