Group VP Legal – Multinational International cross-border exposure Direct access and advisory to executive team High-impact position in fast-growing business This VP of Legal will take on a senior strategic position within this international group as they aggressively expand multi-jurisdictional. Due to the growth and continued plans, the company is creating this new position for a commercial-minded lawyer looking to support C-level closely. In this role you will be responsible for a multi-jurisdictional team consisting of three lawyers handling day-to-day responsibilities and supporting you on larger projects. In addition, you will guide the C-suite on transactional, international commercial and risks while playing a crucial part in the continued expansion of the business internationally. If you are looking to play a key part in a fast-growing, multinational business and lead high-value transactions and projects across multiple jurisdictions, this is a leadership opportunity with access to the highest level on offer. You will: Lead and oversee the legal function; Advise leadership on legal and risk to support safeguarding of the business; Draft, review and negotiate commercial contract, often complex and of an international nature; Be involved in acquisitions and restructurings, often cross-border and coordinate the involved parties.
