Job Description

Prepare, maintain, and update accounting records, ensuring accurate and timely financial information; Process accounting transactions and maintain financial data within the accounting system; Prepare and submit personal income tax returns; Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with statutory requirements; Assist with the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports; Prepare trial balances and ensure the accuracy of financial records; Maintain cash books and accounting journals; Liaise with regulatory and supervisory authorities on accounting-related matters; Assist with additional accounting and finance duties as required. Experience ACCA or University of Malta qualified; Previous experience within an accounting role or accounting team will be considered an asset; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Advanced Excel skills will be considered an asset; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Personal Skills Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities; Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines; Adaptable with the ability to respond effectively to changing business needs; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information; Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
