Job Title – Heavy Vehicle & Plant Mechanic Location: Malta Industry: Construction Salary: 2,599.50 Euros/ 2.89 lakh INR Gross per Month Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle & Plant Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles and heavy machinery. The successful candidate must be skilled in servicing and repairing trucks, vans, dumpers, excavators, cranes, loaders, and other construction and earthmoving equipment. The role includes carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine faults, and ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities ● Ability to repair trucks, excavators, cranes, dumpers, loaders, and similar heavy equipment. ● Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. ● Ability to read technical manuals and follow repair procedures. Requirements ● Minimum 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining both commercial vehicles and heavy construction machinery. ● Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, and diagnostics. ● Good command of the English language, both spoken and written. ● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Valid driver's license (heavy vehicle licence is an advantage).
