Boston Link is currently supporting a leading iGaming operator in their search for a Head of Risk & Fraud to join their senior leadership team in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced risk and fraud professional to take ownership of the company's risk management and fraud prevention strategy. The successful candidate will play a critical role in protecting revenue, ensuring regulatory compliance, safeguarding player integrity, and leading the organisation's approach to operational and strategic risk. Role Responsibilities Develop and lead the company's risk and fraud prevention strategy Oversee fraud detection, investigations, and integrity monitoring activities Implement risk management frameworks, controls, and mitigation plans Collaborate with Compliance, Security, Product, and Analytics teams to address emerging risks Maintain relationships with regulators and relevant industry stakeholders Prepare risk and integrity reports for senior leadership Lead and develop the Risk & Fraud team Advise the business on regulatory developments and industry best practices Requirements Proven leadership experience in Risk, Fraud, Payments, AML, or Compliance within iGaming, fintech, or online payments Strong understanding of fraud prevention, KYC/AML processes, and payment ecosystems Experience with fraud detection tools and risk management frameworks Strong analytical and investigative skills Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment Benefits Company laptop provided Mobile connection covered by the company Parking provided where required Opportunity to lead a business-critical function within a growing organisation Interested in learning more?
