About the Role We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Aircraft Painting Team. Whether you are an experienced spray painter or someone looking to start a career in aircraft refinishing, we offer comprehensive training and development to help you become a fully qualified Aircraft Spray Painter. Working as part of a professional aviation maintenance environment, you will be involved in the preparation, painting, finishing and inspection of aircraft components and structures to the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking and carrying out minor cosmetic repairs. Mix, prepare and apply primers, coatings and finishing materials in accordance with approved procedures. Apply paint finishes to aircraft components and structures to the required quality standards. Inspect prepared and painted surfaces to ensure compliance with company, customer and regulatory requirements. Operate and maintain painting and preparation equipment safely and effectively. Complete job cards, work records and quality documentation accurately. Handle paints, solvents and other materials in accordance with health, safety and environmental requirements. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Work closely with supervisors, inspectors and other production personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule. Participate in training programmes and continuous improvement initiatives. What We Are Looking For Essential: Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures. Ability to work as part of a team in a safety-critical environment. Good communication skills. Desirable: Experience in spray painting, surface preparation, automotive refinishing, manufacturing, composites, bodywork or a related trade. Experience using hand tools, sanding equipment or paint application equipment. Knowledge of health and safety procedures within an industrial environment.
