C licence Driver / Warehouse Assistant Esse Ltd ESSE Ltd. on behalf of Evolve RS Group are currently seeking to recruit a Warehouse Assistant / Driver to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Department Manager. The incumbent will help in the daily operations of our growing warehouse team. Responsibilities include: - Delivery of goods to customers; - Loading trucks, checking material and making sure they are well strapped and safe; - Unloading of goods from vans; - Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers' expectations and business timelines;??? - Pick items according to the Order form;??? - Inspect items to ensure they're not damaged or faulty and adjust inventory accordingly;??? - Pack item according to specified packing guidelines;??? - Assist with receiving, unloading, counting and stocking physical inventory in the warehouse;??? - Open boxes, crates and other containers;??? - Perform stock takes on all products in the warehouse;??? - Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to;??? - Identify errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures;??? - Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues;??? - Assist with warehouse sales;??? - Any other duties the company might find necessary.??? The selected candidate would preferably have the following skills and abilities: - Knowledge of gypsum, paint and flooring products; - Use of paint machine; - Preferably working experience in the sector; - Sufficient experience and skill in operating a forklift truck and be of a confident nature; - Candidate must have received formal operator refresher training within the last 8 months; - Valid C driving licence; - Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team; - Good communication skills.
