This role is ideal for someone commercially minded who wants to build a long-term underwriting career within a niche, internationally connected market. In this role, you’ll support the underwriting of commercial risks, working closely with senior underwriters on live transactions involving property owners, lenders, funds, and developers. You’ll review and analyse files, support policy preparation, liaise with brokers and clients, and gain exposure to sophisticated insurance solutions linked to real estate and investment activity. What makes this opportunity stand out is the level of exposure and development from early on. You’ll work directly with experienced underwriters, international brokers, and high-value transactions while receiving structured training designed to accelerate your technical and commercial growth. Over time, you’ll develop the expertise needed to manage risks independently and progress into a fully-fledged underwriting role. Key Responsibilities Support the underwriting and processing of commercial insurance risks across Europe Assist with policy wording reviews and ensure technical accuracy Liaise with brokers and clients regarding enquiries and ongoing cases Your Profile Degree in Law, Insurance, Business, Property, or related field (or relevant experience) Strong attention to detail with a commercial mindset Fluent in English (additional European languages are an advantage) Salary & Benefits Salary up to €29,000 plus: structured underwriting training programme, sponsorship for professional qualifications, international exposure, collaborative team culture, and clear long-term progression within a growing specialist insurance environment.
