Job Description
With our passion for aviation, we make the world take off Tasks Responsible to the Manager for aircraft maintenance planning, job cards, and coordination with customers, ONE Production System (OPS), and OPE. Acts as planning contact for departments, supports project improvement via performance analysis, and works with Production on KPIs. Coordinate aircraft maintenance projects with planning, production and customers throughout layovers. Manage work scope, technical issues, defects, customer requests and additional maintenance activities. Prepare and maintain maintenance documentation, job cards, work packs and reports. Monitor progress, identify deviations and adjust plans to support on-time delivery. Act as the key planning contact for customers and internal stakeholders. Support audits, reporting, KPI achievement and process improvements. Ensure compliance with EASA/FAA Part 145 and company standards. Participate in project meetings and cross-functional initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree (MQF Level 6) in Aircraft, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Professional training in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of five years experience in aircraft maintenance / design / manufacturing environment is considered an asset Strong knowledge of maintenance programs, MPD and aircraft documentation General familiarization course for at least two of the aircraft types maintained in the facility primarily stationed Skilled in interpreting Customer & OEM technical docs Proficient in MS Office (esp. (LTM) was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (92%) and Air Malta (8%). The MRO service provider (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), based at Malta International Airport in Luqa, provides its customers with line and base maintenance services for short haul and long haul aircraft in the Airbus A320/A330/350 series and Boeing B787. Initially specializing in C Checks and comprehensive aircraft modifications, the company has now significantly expanded its service portfolio following the construction of a 64,000 square meter hangar complex. The spectrum of services offered has grown to encompass extensive maintenance work with wide ranging capabilities including structural and composite fibre repairs, complex testing procedures and comprehensive cabin refits. The 600 strong workforce can work on up to three long haul aircraft or five medium and long haul aircraft at any one time in the new hangar complex, expanded to cater for wide body aircraft. The hangars are used primarily for C Checks and aircraft overhauls. Lufthansa Technik Malta also collaborates with the renowned Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) for the purpose of training and apprenticeship schemes.
