Finance Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our growing team. The selected candidate will be ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective planning and compliance with regulatory requirements. The chosen candidates will be responsible for: Preparing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for all business units. Leading the consolidation of group financial results across all operations. Coordinate with banks and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance. Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation accuracy, timely responses, and effective resolution of audit findings. Collaborating with tax practitioners to ensure all tax obligations are met and optimized. Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with statutory deadlines. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies. Developing, implementing, and monitoring annual budgets, working closely with department heads. Preparing and maintaining detailed cash flow forecasts to support business operations and investment decisions. Performing data analysis using Power BI to provide actionable insights, trend analysis, and performance dashboards. Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English Ability to support strategic decision-making in a dynamic, multi-sector environment Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure Adhering to deadlines and a positive attitude Education and Experience: Masters in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is required.
