Position Summary The General Labourer supports construction site operations by carrying out manual tasks, assisting skilled trades, and ensuring sites are maintained in a safe and organised condition. The role is essential in supporting daily construction activities and ensuring project efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Assist skilled workers such as masons, carpenters, electricians, and machine operators on-site. Carry out general manual labour including loading, unloading, and moving materials. Prepare construction sites by cleaning, organising, and setting up tools and equipment. Support excavation, demolition, and basic construction activities as required. Operate basic hand tools and assist with power tools under supervision. Ensure site cleanliness and assist with waste removal and material disposal. Follow all health & safety regulations and wear required protective equipment. Support delivery and distribution of materials across the site. Carry out any other duties as assigned by site supervisors or foremen. Requirements: Previous experience in construction or manual labour is considered an asset. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
