Our client is looking to hire a Junior Legal Counsel.Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on international industry trends, legal developments, and market insights.
• Monitor EU legislation and provide internal guidance on potential business impact.
• Engage with international stakeholders, partners, and industry representatives.
• Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Support data protection compliance, including risk assessments and process improvements.
• Draft and review contracts with a focus on data protection requirements.
• Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Monitor developments in data protection laws and assess their impact.
• Deliver internal training and awareness sessions on data protection practices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law (or equivalent).
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data protection and/or regulated industries is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Previous legal or international exposure is an advantage.
