About the role We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Risk Analyst to play a key role in protecting our players and platform, identifying risk, preventing fraud, and supporting responsible gambling across our products You’ll be part of the team that protects our platform, supports secure payments, and ensures we meet the highest standards in risk and compliance. Key responsibilities include: Risk evaluation Assess player data, alerts, and risk reports to identify indicators of fraud, financial crime, money laundering, terrorist financing, or unsustainable play, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. * Verification Verify players using documentation and verification tools to mitigate fraud and financial crime risks while meeting compliance standards. * Payments Review and process transactions in line with internal procedures and service level agreements. * Player interaction Communicate with players via phone and email when risk indicators arise, applying responsible gambling tools, conducting further checks, or implementing self-exclusion where required. * Cross-team collaboration Work closely with Customer Experience, Marketing, and other teams to support responsible gambling and anti-money laundering initiatives. * Source of funds and wealth Request and assess documentation to validate player funds and wealth, ensuring spending is legitimate and sustainable. * Record keeping Maintain clear and accurate records of reviews, interactions, decisions, and outcomes. * Tool development and implementation Support the design, testing, and improvement of risk and responsible gambling tools. * Information requests Assist with GDPR-related requests and respond to external information requests where required. * General support Provide support across wider compliance activities as needed. Skills we’re looking for Experience in online gaming is essential Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail Basic understanding of fraud and money laundering risks and mitigation approaches Awareness of responsible gambling indicators and red flags Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive approach with the ability to handle a high workload Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Collaborative team player Self-motivated and quick to learn new systems and processes Familiarity with help desk tools such as Zendesk is an advantage Strong written and verbal English skills Benefits and perks At kwiff, we back our team with support, autonomy, and a culture of real ownership.
