Maintenance Technician - Electrical Licence A or B)

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) knowledge and a valid Electrical Licence (Authorisation A or B). The role involves maintaining building systems, electrical installations, and plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, motors, panels, lighting, controls). Diagnose and repair electrical faults in line with REWS and OHSA regulations. Carry out testing, inspection, and certification of electrical systems. Maintain mechanical systems and support repairs as required. Keep accurate maintenance records and reports. Liaise with contractors and suppliers for planned works. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Participate in on-call or emergency breakdown duties when required. Requirements: Valid REWS Electrical Licence (A or B). Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MQF Level 3 or higher). Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance or building services. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
