Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities Fitting, examining, testing, and servicing motor vehicle engines. Replacing Engine components or complete engines Fitting, examining, adjusting, dismantling, rebuilding, and replacing defective parts of motor vehicles. Performing diagnostic tasks in establishing faults and repair methods. Installing or adjusting motor and brakes, and adjusting steering or other parts of motor vehicles Understanding the required works needed to be done, as per job card presented by the service reception team. Reporting and giving feedback to service advisor and service reception team. Keeping oneself adjourned with the technical advancements of the vehicles that are serviced by the Company. Adhering to the occupational health and safety procedures and standards established by the Company. Ensuring customer satisfaction by dealing with the customers within one’s realm of responsibility and directing them through the appropriate channels. Ensuring that the work being done is according to the quality standards established by the Company. Ensuring that work bay is kept clean and hazard free. Maintain workshop tools and equipment. Assist other mechanics in the performance of mechanical repairs. Skills and Abilities In possession of a Motors Vehicle Maintenance and repair qualification Effective communication skills The ability to read and understand job cards The ability to follow processed and procedures Diligent Self-motivated and hardworking JobsinMalta
