Process (Plant) Operator – Shift Work

Multigas Ltd is seeking a responsible and motivated individual to join its operations team as a Process Operator G4 (Plant Operator). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Air Separation Plants and carrying out cylinder-filling duties. Duties & Responsabilities Operate the air separation units efficiently, ensuring: Product availability is maintained at healthy stock levels and product losses are avoided. Required quality standards are consistently met. The lowest possible specific energy is achieved, as discussed with the Plant Engineers. Start up and shut down the Air Separation Units autonomously, in accordance with Company instructions and guidelines, with minimal support from the Plant Engineers. Keep the plants and Company equipment in good working condition by monitoring for defects and malfunctions and taking remedial action following consultation with the Plant Engineers. Perform cylinder-filling duties when required. Carry out all duties effectively and efficiently in line with the environmental, health and safety, and quality standards set by the Company. Skill Experiences & Qualifications Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced operational environment. Computer literate. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work on a shift basis, including nights, weekends and public holidays as per schedule. Previous experience operating industrial process equipment would be considered an asset Successful candidate should hold an O Level standard of education, whilst a technical qualification will be considered an asset.
