Product Compliance Engineer

Job Description

A leading international company are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Compliance Engineer to oversee regulatory and safety compliance for radio remote control systems used in industrial machinery. In this role, you will work closely with R&D teams, certification bodies, and external laboratories to ensure products meet international regulatory, safety, and certification standards throughout the product lifecycle. What You'll be Doing Regulatory & Product Compliance Lead compliance activities for radio remote control products across EU and global markets Interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations, including RED, Machinery Regulation, EMC, LVD, and international approvals Prepare and maintain technical documentation and Declarations of Conformity (DoC) Functional Safety Support compliance activities related to machinery functional safety standards Assist in safety concepts, risk analysis, and safety validation activities Support preparation of safety documentation and audits Laboratory Testing & Certification Coordinate RF, EMC, electrical safety, environmental, and functional safety testing Liaise with external laboratories, certification bodies, and testing partners Review test reports and support corrective actions when required Documentation & Quality Maintain organized technical files and ensure traceability of compliance documentation Support internal and external audits related to product certification and compliance What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field Experience in product compliance, testing, safety engineering, or industrial electronics is considered an asset Basic understanding of RF, EMC, and electrical safety regulations Familiarity with testing laboratories and certification processes Understanding of risk analysis and technical documentation practices Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Proactive and detail-oriented mindset What We Offer Opportunity to work on innovative industrial technology products Professional development and training opportunities Collaborative and technically driven work environment Benefits Health Insurance Life Insurance Dental Plan Job Reference: HS876 Category Engineering Job type Full Time Employment level Intermediate (1-3 years) Work Location On Premises Employer industry Manufacturing Languages English Engineering Jobs in Malta involve the production, preparation, alteration and repair of structures.
