Job Description Our client operating in the Shipping sector is seeking to recruit a QHSE Supervisor, to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Promoting health and safety principles across the organisation. Supporting the implementation of safety policies, procedures and practices within the company's premises. Monitoring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company safety guidelines to protect employees, contractors, visitors, equipment and cargo. Actively enforcing safety requirements on the ground, while fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement in collaboration with terminal management, operations teams and external stakeholders. Conducting risk assessments, inspections of processes, worksites and facilities in line with compliance regulations and policies. Ideal Candidate Profile: Minimum of 3 years' hands-on practical experience working in medium to high-risk environments, ideally within ports, shipping, logistics or heavy industry. Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures effectively and assertively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in Maltese and English. During the one-year probationary period, the chosen candidate will be asked to read for and obtain the NEBOSH IGC certification, which will be fully sponsored by the company.
