Senior Automotive Technician - Electrical

Industry: Transportation and Logistics Location: Malta Basis: Full-time Remuneration: Salary + Benefits Main Duties: Including but not limited to - Maintain GSE, diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and control system faults using specialized tools and technical manuals Perform safe, compliant repairs on Euro 6 emissions systems and electric vehicles (LV/HV) following established risk assessments and safety protocols Maintain tools, clean work areas, and complete detailed job documentation for full traceability Provide technical support to management, assist with fault investigations, and follow company safety, quality, and security policies Perform other duties as assigned by leadership What skills do you need? Advanced diagnostic and repair skills Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems Knowledge of industrial vehicles, heavy vehicles and/or passenger cars Knowledge of Euro 6 after-treatment and emissions-control systems Knowledge of EV systems, including low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) systems, is considered an asset Knowledge of electronics, ELV, and low-voltage mains systems is considered an asset Ability to work independently and provide technical support to colleagues Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 4 years' work experience in a related field Relevant qualification in automotive engineering, electrical systems or a related discipline MCAST qualifications or specialised training in electric vehicles (EVs), including LV and HV systems, will be considered an asset Ability to communicate in English, Maltese, or both Practical knowledge of industrial vehicles, heavy vehicles and/or passenger cars Eligibility to work in the EU is a must Want to see more jobs?
