Senior Internal Accountant

Job Description

Our client in the pharmacy sector is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and wants to take ownership of key finance processes. In this role, you'll be involved in everything from monthly close and payroll to group-level consolidation and statutory reporting. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring the accuracy of financial data across multiple entities, and you’ll work closely with senior management to support decision-making and compliance with IFRS and Maltese tax laws. The ideal candidate brings at least 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a multinational group. Strong consolidation experience is essential, and if you’ve worked in audit before, that’s a definite bonus. You should be part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA (or a similar certification), and confident using accounting systems.
