Industry: Manufacturing Location: Malta Basis: Full time Remuneration: Salary Main Duties: Accurately and efficiently set up machines, materials, and jobs according to supporting documentation Monitor and operate the starch system, double backer, single facer, and glue kitchen to maximize high-quality production output Prepare, adjust, and align liner rolls, splices, preheaters, and reinforcement components Continuously monitor operations, perform quality checks on boxes, and troubleshoot issues to minimize defects Accurately complete all data entry, production logs, safety metrics, and quality reports in a timely manner Prepare, tag, and store down (butt) rolls, and safely operate forklifts to move materials Perform minor preventive maintenance, submit repair work orders, and maintain a clean, organized workspace Adhere to production schedules, assist team members during downtime, and communicate timely updates to supervisors Comply with all health, safety, and company policies, participate in training, and support the development of fellow team members What skills do you need: Minimum 1 year in manufacturing; corrugated packaging and forklift certification are assets Competent in operating, setting up, and troubleshooting production machinery Strong commitment to health, safety, housekeeping, and strict quality standards Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine preventive maintenance Good computer literacy, accurate record-keeping, and strong English communication Reliable, proactive team player with an accountable approach to work Sound decision-making skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot issues Flexible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and develop new skills Eligibility to work in the EU is a must Want to see more jobs?
