Storekeeper Assistant / Helper

Location: Ħaż-Żabbar About the Role One of our clients is seeking a Storekeeper Assistant / Helper to join their team in Ħaż-Żabbar. This is a practical, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day organisation and upkeep of the store. The successful candidate will assist the Storekeeper with preparing materials and orders, loading company vehicles and keeping the store clean, safe and organised. Main Duties The role will include: Keeping store floors clean and free from dust, dirt and spills Cleaning and dusting shelves and maintaining an organised store environment Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Assisting the Storekeeper with loading construction materials into company vehicles Using mechanical equipment, such as a mechanical lifter, to assist with moving and loading heavier items Helping the Storekeeper prepare and place orders for materials Collecting materials such as wood or metal from a nearby storage area when required Carrying out other duties as required to support the Storekeeper and wider team Requirements Applicants should: Be a Registered Disabled Person (RDP) and have a valid RDP number Be able to safely lift, push and pull loads as required by the role Be comfortable standing, walking, bending and carrying out physical tasks for extended periods Have good vision and hearing due to the health and safety requirements of the role Be proficient in the Maltese language Be willing to follow workplace health and safety procedures Basic knowledge of construction materials is considered an advantage but is not essential.
